Maryland Fashion Week

Maryland Fashion Week has a very unique style different from any fashion week in the world by setting the stage for not only the petite models but for our kids and full figure models alike. Maryland Fashion Week is the only Fashion Show in the world where kids and full figure models are included on the same runway as the petite models. We want the world to know that Maryland is doing things out of the box.
We are different and innovative and bring family to the runway along with the high fashion Couture designs from some of the most amazing and creative designers and merchants in the surrounding areas and aboard. Many designers come to be apart of Maryland Fashion Week from areas such as Miami, Paris, New York City, Delaware, Virginia, Maryland, Washington, DC to name a few. The production is outstanding and reviews are great.  

Maryland Fashion Week is performed by local and out of town models and entertainers hoping to be seen by other companies for potential projects with their companies and agencies. These talented individuals work very hard to bring their best to the public. Model and Talent (MAT) Associates, LLC utilizes this event in an effort to raise funds for the Performing Arts Scholarship Awards given out each year to senior high school students to help them further their education to higher learning institutions. MAT has been instrumental in helping the community through Maryland Fashion Week events and hopes to encourage other companies to continue to support this case by donating funds towards the Performing Arts Scholarship.

Maryland Fashion Week helps the State of Maryland to gain the visibility and recognition in the Fashion Industry. It is recognized by the State Governor’s Office each year by presenting a proclamation for the month of August  addressed to Model and Talent Associates, LLC for Maryland Fashion Week. Our economic growth in the fashion industry has increased with the number of fashion outlets and designers. The outlook for positive business growth is becoming more apparent as Industry recognition is brought forth through events like this. Department Stores are seeing more options in the market now with so many more products to choose from than before. Maryland has gained a lot of attention in the fashion industry and MAT Associates has contributed to that visibility by producing Maryland Fashion Week Events and allowing out of town guest to come into the State of Maryland to spend money on fashion products and services as seen in NYC, LA, or Miami.Maryland Fashion Week will continue to grow and we invite the community to invest in this event for the State; we have something different and unique and no other State has a show like Maryland Fashion Week.

About the Producers

Model and Talent Associates, LLC (MAT Associates ) are the proud producers of Maryland Fashion Week, Maryland Bridal Expo, Have a Heart Campaign Drive for Charitable Associations, and the MAT Model Training School located in Laurel, MD. Each year MAT Associates showcases one of the largest and most talked about fashion event in the State of Maryland. It has the endorsement of the State Governor Martin O’Malley’s dedication to the mission of economic growth in our communities.

MAT Associates have partnered with several cutting edge companies such as Independence Media and Entertainment Group (IMEG) who has been instrumental in implementing the operational side through staging of events, technology deployment, video and sound production. These companies have been working with MAT Associates to bring to you the best of Maryland for each of our events.

MAT Associates has been coordinating fashion events for various occasions for over 10 years which include such events as the charitable events, private parties, corporate functions, promotional advertising events and many more. Our product delivery has always been very well received by many and more opportunities arrive from each event due to the quality of services provided to clients. We specialize in elite talent to assist with each event and pride our company on their quality of performance. Our models are highly skilled on the runway, advertising print campaigns, commercials, acting, singing, and dancing. We want your business. MAT bring innovative ideas to each project our clients need for that special day to be memorable, exciting and rewarding for their customers and /or guest to enjoy. We spend a great deal of time and development in making each event different and catered to our clients ideas for their engagement.

Maryland Fashion Week - Fashion, Entertainment, and Community 

Maryland Fashion Week has been instrumental in helping the community and hopes to encourage other companies to continue to support the arts and provide opportunities for the members of the community to take part in the fashion industry and performing arts. Maryland Fashion Week is recognized by the State of Maryland each year by being presented with a proclamation during the month of August since 2005.
